Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.

I posted the tutorial over in the, er, tutorials section - https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/786796.page#10754974

I also contributed to the retro thread, so thought I would add the pictures in here too. Here's a couple of collections I am working on at the moment, inspired by fourth edition Warhammer back in 1992. Dwarfs and goblins, mostly GW figures but I am not averse to others if they fit the bill (couple of the dwarfs for example).

Thanks. I was really happy with the way they turned out. The faces on those models are among the best in minis if you ask me. It's the moustaches.

These are elven archers, metal figures from the late 90s I think, that I painted about six years ago. It was meant to be the start of a new elf army, but then I put it to one side. As you do. Anyway, they are back. I am about to make a few changes to this unit, so thought I would show them before they are transformed.

The goblins look really great. Reminds me of Paul Bonners art style with that realistic yet comical and saturated pallet.

Well done all over.

My latest commission, a unit of flaggelents.

I also dragged these two guys out of my cabinet for a photo session, lovely old sculpts from 2005 maybe. There was a third with a great weapon, but he's gone to the chaos warp now.
