Hey all, time to start the hobby blog for Armies on Parade. Done it for 2 years now and loved it both times, so now onto a third year. For those who followed last year and the thread before, I use this as a method to push me into modelling but also as somewhere to display certain models I want to make. Year one was the Aquila and year 2 was my armoured train conversion. So what is the theme this year? My favourite area of 40k! Rogue trader!
My idea this year is a little different. Instead of just a hobby blog of hey look at how my models are coming along i am going to add a narrative. So not only will you see my board progress I will add a nice little story for you all to follow at the same time. I love coming up with a background and a history for my models, especially rogue traders so i thought why not share it. So i will make a separate thread and you can follow both of the project, the story behind my rogue traders and the progress of my board.
The plan is to use the models from the Kill team set as the main focus of the model, and using some Tempestus scions as their bodyguards. There will be also a cool conversion to go onto the board but I will save that reveal till later. The clues will be in the narrative!

Here is the link to the narrative if you would like to read it!

Here is the layout of the board so far as a simple mock up

Sorry about the camera quality but I was slightly rushing and everything is either sellotape or cardboard, so didnt think there was a need for HQ photos at this time
