Working on helping my brother plan out an Ork project that he's had on the back burner for a while, now that it's further supported by the Arsonist trait. Trying to figure out what else it needs; thinking maybe more tank-busting, but unsure what form it might take. Looking for insights on things to try to cram in there to make it a functional, casual-competitive army.

That's 1293 points for the 'core' of the idea (plus 3 CP to buff those burnas and exhausts). Trying to figure out the rest.
2 (3?) klaws&saws Deffdreads ("Da Jaws Of Life") (95 each) tellyported in to crack open vehicles and general mayhem?
Units of 'civilian' Shoota Boys to hold the backline objectives? Big shootas in there, or not worth the points? 20-boyz strong? Smaller?
Squads of Gretchin instead? Benefits besides costing a lot fewer points? Squad sizes?
Something further to deal with vehicles? Mek Guns? Tankbustas? Lootas? Another Boosta-Blasta?
Weirdboy for whatever? Painboy to keep the civilians back home patched up?
Don't worry too much about local meta, it's kind of all over the place. Just looking to work out a decent take-all-comers fluffy list.
