Hey all,

I've only just started getting into 40k this year. I've been a lurker for a couple of weeks and decided to make an account. I like 40k memes, old 40k art, and seeing people's orky conversions.

I'm looking to start collecting old-school rogue-trader type boyz, so if you have any advice I'd love to hear it.

If you've got any advice to give to a new ork player, I'd welcome that too.

Very excited to get to know you all,

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Welcome. The Ork Tactica thread has solid advice on how to play orks, most of the codex is viable as long as you don't play in a very competitive environments which is good. If you want advice on your list go ahead and post there, just be sure to put it into spoilers and say what you are wanting to accomplish with the list to give people an idea of how you are wanting it to play.

Ebay is probably going to be your best bet when it comes to collecting the vintage ork models, they still show up their fairly regularly.
