Great list . The only thing that I would change is the dreadnought for maulerfiend or forgefiend, to match up the daemon theme.

The thing is though that I wanted this for a ranged attacker but the forgefiend hits on a 4+ at best, while the Dreadnought hits on a 2+

I would not run anything other than butcher cannons on the dread. Str8... ues please, multi-damage... bye bye primaris plus a leadership debuff that will work with a few things in your army... if I am not mistaken.

Also it'd be easier to help if you outlined which psychic abilities everyone has. I'm also thinking there are better heavy weapons than missle launchers... Autocannons for one.

If you cut out the spawn, you can upgrade your sorcerer to a disco lord or another flying demon prince.

My thought behind the Launchers is that I need some heavy-duty AP for tanks and what not. Anything lower AP than that should easily be dealt with by the possessed

I think a Lord Discordant would work great in this list. Maybe switch the Dread to a Maulerfiend or Defiler. You are very vulnerable to being gunned down before you can get to the enemy, so just keep that in mind.

I looks like you'll be in for a pretty nasty melee death ball. Though if someone with gate, or any other kind of flanking ability makes it into your back line. You could be in for some trouble.

If you could find a way to make up the points, I'd say take two forge fiends in place of the Deredeo. Because they count as daemon engines for the purpose of the MOP's aura.

Just keep your greater possessed away from any dedicated melee units. Especially a master of executions, running Slaanesh & Elixir relic. He'll basically tear through both of them math wise in one turn and still have a few swings left to peel off other models.

It looks like he's mostly going to be warp-timing the ball up the field. That is if he takes Chaos Familiar to swap out one of his powers for it.

Though it would be nice to see a Defiler on the field.

One has to wonder. Do the Tyranids consider drop-assault troops... fast food?

Again though it seems like Forgedfiends will have little use with their poor WS and BS

15 Possessed with some help, kill a baneblade in a single round, so anti-tank in general isn't the issue. Probably just flyers. At best the deredeo, will need 3 rounds to drop one, asssuming you are giving it prescience and its using its anti-flyer ability. But....

Why not double down on your combat pressuring. Drop the Deredeo, take your CSM drop them down to basic cultists. Bring a flying lord with cursed crozarius and 3 x 5 warp talons (they are daemonic!!!) If you land VOLW buff on the talons they are wounding anything in the air 75% of the time :-), just like the posssessed are on the ground. And 5 talons with neverborn stratagem, take out an eldar flying in a single round of combat. That's far better than a sitting duck Deredeo.

Herald of Slannesh -smite/delightful agonies (6+FNP)
Herald of Slannesh - smite/hysterical frenzy (1" fight now)
Herald of Slannesh - smite/symphony of pain (-1 to hit)

Well thats what I think for now. Provides a touch more combat pressure. Everything could start on the board, or some things off the board, doesn't matter, pretty much everything has a 5+ invuln. The flying lord and Demon prince can pop a flyer a turn if they both touch it. Or with a unit of warp talons. You could pop 2 flyers.

I think I'll record this list in my possible lists to try out. Thanks for the inspiration :-)
