Anyone else watching Amazon Prime's 'Tales From The Loop'?

Really beautiful, moving Sci-Fi. Very impressed with it so far.

Interesting. I didn't know that was being made. For those who don't know, Tales From the Loop the show is based on the Table Top RPG Tales From the Loop (which won some awards) by Free League. A game about being kids in the 1980s that never was in Sweden, where a LHC (the loop) was built that resulted in a lot of weird stuff. It's a bit of the goonies with the parents not around and not believing you with a dash of sci fi, and supernatural, and lovecraftian horror.

That game itself is based on a bunch of art work by a guy that juxtaposed weird sci fi elements with 1980s life.





They made a sequel game. Now set in the 90s. Things From the Flood. More grimier. More grungier. More dangerous.

That passed me by.
I'll have to fire up the stick and hunt around for it.
