the next point is what do i add to get to 1500?

Well you need another troops choice so you can make a battalion. You could go for some more bloodclaws but I'd consider some intercessors to give you some range. Speaking of your blood claws, drop the plasma, bloodclaws have terrible BS and you'll want to be advancing them so they can get into combat quickly.

Your wulfen need some more weapons, take more thunder hammers or some great axes.

The helfrost cannon is terrible, jack of all trades, master of none. Take a lascannon or assault cannon instead.

Canis is very out of place in this list, no wolves or thunder cav to make use of his buffs. With all your bloodclaws a wolf priest would be better.

Lastly the pred is just a bit underwhelming for SW. If you want a heavy unit I'd recommend long fangs. I'd consider dropping it unless you really want it.

Now, as for expanding I'd look into a few units. If you want to add a few more dreads look at Bjorn and Murderfang. They are amazing. The new Ragnar is great too in terms of characters. Wolves are best in combat so more tightly units and or transports to get your units into combat. Good luck!

Hey man list looks fun. I personally dont really love all the named characters, but they are just so cheap... And as far as expanding your list without having to change much?

Have you played with your list at all? What has worked well for you? What has been hard? List seems a little light on ranged anti tank however you gotta stay true to who are are and what you want to do with your list! You want to drown them in fangs and fur we can make that happen.

Make sure you grab another unit of blood claws so you can get that all important battalion and 5cp.

Then I would add a unit of thunderwolves to go around with Canis so that way he fits a little bit better in the list!

The Plasmas were cheap hence i went with them to use up points

Njal is there to dispell any enemy psychic spell i dislike the + 1 to dispel and x2 is useful, plus the "spells" he has are not too shabby. so he has to stay in the army.

I may add some fenrisan wolves to support Canis, im not too loving of the thunderwolf cavalry, that's points i can spend on better things. (maybe on the way to 1500 i may include them) thoughts on this please?

Canis is there because he is relatively OK in combat which is the overall focus of my army.

Good shout on more Blood claws, or i suppose i could just split my existing ones? i.e i have 20 models currently in two troops and the minimum is x5 and there is relatively little points difference and i will get +5CP so i could change it all to;

The predator is a distraction, nothing more, i dont really need heavy weapons i want to get my army in combat at which point its just a waste of points having an expensive lascannon sat at the back unable to shoot anything (i may be wrong on this one but its working well so far at 600pts without anything heavy).

then going forward to 1500 points im thinking of a stormfang and some rhinos somthing like this?

The stormfang/stormwolf is the same kit and you can build either from it. Unless you need the transport capacity then go for the gunship.

You're points are a little off, I ran your list through battlescribe and managed to squeeze a few more points out. I threw them on the thunder wolves but you could put them wherever. I do like the theme you got going!

Thanks, i was using the mobile version so might have messed up some points.

im having a little heart change about the list though lol and thinking i need to just put my teeth into combat and arm up on strength 8 weapons, hiding in transport isnt really my style either

i think im going to bolster my blood claws with terminators and forget about the rhinos and storm wolf/fang and go for more dreadnoughts, what do you think?

A rolling death ball! Nice, I like this a lot. I'd take your elites and one hq and for them into a separate vanguard detachment for more CP. That way you'll have a total of 9 which is very respectable.

Your list is mildly similar to the one I'm planning for 2000 points. I'm using intersessors instead of blood claws though and adding in some invictors.

The blood claws are lethal especially within 12” of wulfen I’m surprised more people don’t take them!
