Subject: Deathskullz, honour amongst thieves?

I am about to start an Ork army and I have been looking into the history and benefits of the different clans. The Deathskullz seem like they have the best clan kultar for competitive play, but their fluff is about them being a bunch of untrustworthy thieves.
So I wondered, is there honour amongst thieves? Pretty much do they steal from other orks but not from each other, or does anything go with them?
The other clan I like is the Snakebites. As someone who has been out the game for many many years and is now getting back into it, da old ways are da best mentality is something I like along with their Orky toughness. They are the wisest and have a real Orky authenticity, but their clan kultar seems the least value one for competitive play.
Thoughts?

I think its stated in the codex that if you steal from another Death Skull, you get to keep it, for doing a good job. That's their only Honor amongst Thieves.

Indeed, Orks don’t understand “honour” as Humans understand it. Orks understand power. If you have power over someone, you can expect them to do as you say. If someone has power over you, you do as they say or you get a good kicking.
There is no “honour” as such. Glory, as a means to achieving and proving your power, yes. Trophies, items of other importance yes. They are ascribed as status symbols, and a warning not to be a git and go against the bearer. Tales of victory inspire respect / fear from other Orks. But not loyalty per se. If you show weakness it is *right* for a more powerful Ork to take your power.
So no, no honour amongst Orks, other than “Don’t get caught by someone more powerful than you.”

I assumed that Orks had the general belief that if you didn't want it stolen you should kept a better eye on it. The thief did a good job nicking it and the fault lies in the former owner.
Of course there's equally nothing wrong in someone dumber but bigger seeing you stole their stuff, beating you to death and taking it back. In that case the fault lies in the dead Ork for not being tougher.

Cool, some great answers. They all make sense to me, I guess "might is right" always overules any other sense of "loyalty" as it were.

Just don't steal from the Bad Moons, they will take it quite personally.
