Here is a hellcannon that has been neglected for far too long;

And a group shot of everything I've painted during the lockdown so far;

Hope you like them

Agreed ^ can OP give method?

I feel like you've painted things too quickly and you should take your time more. To have completely all of that during lockdown shows you're not tthat much time on the models. The highlights aroumd the shields etc. look slapped on with no real thought. Just take longer highlighting your minis and you can take your painting game to the next level I think! You're a good painter man!

Cheers both.

@Axel Dale whilst I appreciate the encouragement, these models are not me painting at my best, I just want them neat and looking good on the table top. I'm approaching 40 with a professional occupation, a commute and a toddler. My days of having hours to lavish on rank and file troops are over (for the next 14 years at least ) I'm happy just to get an army on the table. Thanks again though, I take the compliment from it.

Cannon is fairly straightforward; bright white base coat, making sure to get into all the crevasses, then dry brush flashgitz yellow, fire dragon orange, wildrider red, glaze with cassandora yellow, dry brush black with a tiny bit of red mixed in (I just edge highlighted the cannon mouth and stipled around the hinge) then a final thin glaze of blood angel red contrast over the tops of the shapes, without letting it run into the crevasses. Job done.
