Shouldnt every keyword in the game have something that makes it unique from others which in turn gives it certain advantages.

I don't know how it is in other factions but the Monster keyword seems the most useless keyword in the game. It has no upsides beyond "you're not infantry and even though you're huge you absolutely cannot smash through walls or attack things at your eye level"

There doesn't seem to be many strats that give something to monsters that other unit types cant do. Theres plenty of strats that do extra damage to Monsters however.

Keywords are just tags for other rules to trigger off. The don't all need to do something.

And sometimes being a monster is nice, because you are not Infantry or another keyword.

A bit ago in a game, my son’s Vindicare assassin was trying to take down Guilman. He always wounds on a 2+ right? Nope, he always wounds infantry on a 2+, against Big G, he needs a 5+.

Just one example. It’s not something that you see on the monster’s sheet, but there are perks.

To be fair it does sometimes feel rather haphazard how they use keywords, monster as a keyword does feel very much like a double edged sword at time through. Atleast unlike jetpack it didnt take psychic awakening to introduce a sub par strategum to be the only thing that interacts with it.
