I can only imagine how much of my Iron Warrior / Traitor army will get done if this lockdown lasts another 2 months, as has been thrown around. I am digging back into 2012 at this point.

Anyway, today I have a small batch, organic, Deimos-pattern Predator Infernus. Like a Predator tank, but older, and it only shoots fire. Lots of fire.

That Chaos star is a decal. I only used 2 decals on here, the other one is a much smaller star on the back.

The Iron Warriors icon on the back door was 3D printed. Fun fact - it normally has arrows on the sides, and when I broke one of them when cleaning it up, I decided to just trim it. Lemonade out lemons and all.

I used 3 pieces of brass etch for this. My technique is to prime it very lightly with clearcoat, then very thin coats of a brass, then a gold, then some washes. The final result looks nice and brassy, which really makes me wonder why I painted it at all.

Some more of that brass etch.

I'm not thrilled with the headlight glow - from the outside of the bottle the yellow seemed a little darker than the very bright yellow it came out as. Not so bad as to warrant redoing the model, but it was not my intended effect.

I also did the Magna-Melta cannon, in case I wanted to not use a giant flamethrower, which is a situation that would never, ever happen.

All the weapons are magnetized, in case I ever wanted to swap them out. I can't see ever going with a non-flamethrower version, but I guess it would be nice to at least have the option of running it as a stock Predator or something, which sounds like it would not dump anywhere near as much burning promethium on screaming bodies.

Lovely work! The hazard striping on the front is particularly drool-worthy.

Thanks! I taped it, I can never do lines that straight otherwise.

I think you've done a really good job. It's quite bright because of the usage of green glows, but that's fine if that's your style. Good job for sure, would I like it a little darker and dingy? Possibly but that's taste.
