Hey guys, long time lurker, first time poster.

A friend of mine that I started killteam with has recently picked up the arena expansion, and alongside it has built a very nasty close quarters Deathwatch killteam armed to the teeth with flamers, frag cannons, power weapons, etc.

Normally I don't care about meta builds/lists and instead build off of narrative/what looks cool. That being said, my current list of Skitarii won't fair well in such an environment and I have at least the entire summer before our next game thanks to current events, I was planning on building a new team and was wondering what a melee centric/CQC killteam would look like that would stand a chance facing Deathwatch in enclosed spaces? Only restraint I would put on this is no Genestealers/Nids due to personal taste, everything else is on the table however.

Harlequins, Chaos Demons and Primaris Reivers are solid choices.

If considering Elites, then the Eldar have access to Wraithblades, Banshees and Scorpions.

Drukhari you have the unsavoury Wyches and Incubi.

If you do change your mind about Nids and are including Commanders then a Broodlord and some Lictors are the undisputed fisticuff kings of Kill Team.
