Hi All,

Let’s say you have generic space marines from the 10 man tactical squad box to the 5 man assault squad boxes to scouts and to the space marines from the old Macragge starter Box set.

I am well aware I can paint them as any chapter, but which chapters would not fit with these “generic” space marines.
I am thinking specifically of deathwatch here (shoulder pads) and dark angels (robes).

Which core Space Marine chapters can I paint these as?

Thanks!

Space Wolves also have more specific models.
Core type marines would be Ultramarine & any successor chapter & Blood Angels, White Scars, Salamanders & their successors (their standard troops).

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Blood angels have specific models in their tactical box,

You can paint them how you want, you dont need the fancy dangly things or robes, back in 3rd edition dark angels were just regular sculpts and they looked just fine

Blood Angels Furioso Dreadnought should also be double-fisted.
