Nice figures, from very old to pretty new sculpts! The chaos spawn is hilarious how did you make it?

Chaos Spawn ingredient list:

- Plastic lid of detergent bottle as body.
- Daemon face from 40K chaos vehicle sprue.
- Wire used as tentacles.
- Tentacle heads from above vehicle sprue.
- Spikes made of toothpicks.
- Green stuff used for slimy "foot."

I never liked any chaos spawn from GW and was determined to build my own. Also there was a section in the 4th Chaos army book to build your own spawn.

Yeah, despite the fact that there are over 1000 minis in my collection I am still quite cheap. So instead of buying new ogres, my old Hero Quest minis can also get the job done.

One thing that may look odd to the casual observer is the fact that there is no "fat/ugly" character in my Nurgle army. Apart from the GUO I detest those "biggest losers" as commanders. The only minis that are okay in that department would be 2nd 40K plague marines because their bloated bellies are way smaller than the beer guts that you get nowadays.

Why have I chosen then Nurgle in the first place? Just three points:

1. Green/Brown color scheme
I also have a Catachan army and I don't get tired of these colours. They have simply a soothing effect on me.

2. Best looking old-school daemon models
Although in this army none of those are present, they make an appearance on my 40K battlefield. Sadly the majority of new Nurgle models are grinning like clowns which is a turn-off for me.

3. Defensive play-style
I simply like my army to be sturdy.

Adrift within the vortex of my imagination.

Love Heroquest ogres, but if you hadnt got the memo yet, they are the most expensive ogres you can source. Like me you already had them, but to get more will require some investment.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

This is a pretty cool army, the paint scheme is charming in it's own way, and is that a converted orc shaman? I also think the chaos spawn is kinda goofy in a good way. good army .

No, it's not an orc but a chaos sorcerer from 4th. Thanks for the praise.

They both have very similar poses.
