I am curious how people approach the question of painting (or not) the interior of a taurox. I suppose that the central question is the degree to which it works to put the model together without gluing the top on. The inside actually looks like it would be fun to paint, but I can't see doing that unless I am going to be able to get a better view than simply looking through the slats.
thanks

I carefully drilled out the hinges on the rear doors so they would open and close (I used a cut down pin to make the pivot bar)

(crummy photo but hopefully it shows the idea, the head of the pin is at the top of the hinge set up, and the shaft has been cut off just at the base)

also depending on how you build the top hatch set up you can take the top on and off if you don't glue it

oh and this one is rocking a set of Zinge Industries wheels as I much prefer that look than the tracks it comes with

Thanks OrlandotheTechnicoloured, that is indeed a very nicely done interior. It definitely inspires me to paint mine. I am curios about the hinge. I can't imagine being that accurate with my drill. Do you use power drill or a hand drill?
thanks

Wow, this interior looks fantastic. Really great work on the whole gang riding along as well! Very interesting that you don't need to magnetise the roof - I guess this is a consequence of the it being relatively new and not being all warped and janky like the Rhino and Landraider hulls are.

Baron, don't forget to talk about the SEALs and Marines you habitually beat up on 2 and 3 at a time, as you PM'd me about.

Perhaps it is a lube issue, seems obvious now.
