So I found my old 4th edition world eaters in the garage and I'm trying to turn it into a cohesive army. I figure I can use my old metal Bloodthirster as a Daemon prince. Just trying to reach semi competitive, while still remaining true to the source.

I have a land raider, a couple of helbrutes, 10 raptors, a bunch of bloodletters and some fleshhounds also.

So basic plan is that the 'thirster's and prince advance behind the bikes with the rhinos following. Terminators drop next turn where appropriate. What little shooting I have will be concentrated on screens. Hopefully the 'thirsters will be a big enough threat to act as distraction to allow the rest of Amy to get to melee range. Any suggestions would be helpful!

Hey there ! That seems insane to fight against ! However, how are you going to hols objectives and deal with long range tanks / monsters ? I suggest obliterators.

Looks like a fun list. I'd put Red Butchers on the squad of Terminators instead of the Chaos Lord in Termi armor since it give the squad a much higher damage output than you would get from the Lord fighting twice.

Yeah that's definitely an issue! I really don't have an answer for ya.... Rhino's doesn't seem like an adequate response.....The only thing I feel like I can drop would be the termies, and the termies lord, tightening the belt on the wrath thirster can save another 20, x the upgraded on the rhino's, is about 380pts...hmmmm.

You've got the list I'd have if I had more bikes and termies!
Don't put the land raider in the list, I've been had by that too many times! It's the first thing people shoot at and then whatever you had in there is footslogging and you've lost 200+ points.

I've had some success by putting the lord on on a bike with a power fist and having him follow the rhinos full of berserkers in. Smashes a lot of things to death and buffs the zerkers at the same time.

I'd love a bker lord, but nobody I play with allows legends. It's all itc just so people can agree on pick up games.

I would have went obliraters if we had any psychic in khorne, but without any support... I'm a bit leary...

How do you warptime a Bloodthirster? They are not “Heretic Astartes” so...


I like the list, you got a bit of everything and will hit hard. I usually look at a list, playing the game in my head with an army that’s tough for the list I’m looking at and a shooting army vs your. Try to imagine that (not in detail) and how would you play vs your own list and then you see the weakness of the list and the strong parts.

Strong parts.
Good threats, what too kill first. Is very choppy list that’s kills stuff. You can kill anything.

Weak parts.
Little objective holders. No denying overwatch. Not very mobile after T2.

All in all.
Rush down the table and kill as much as you can. Rhinos and bikers hold objectives and you will win late game but loose early VP. Hard time vs a mobile list with shooting and watch out for countercharges and I think you will do good.

Try the list and see. Blood for the bloodgod!!

Thanks for all the help guys!! I think I have my threats pretty well spread out, so my target priority with my limited shooting will be essential. When given the opportunity to, I will also place my objectives as close to my opponent as possible to help mitigate the overall forward push of my list. It may also force my opponent into teeth, which can only benefit me.Any suggestions on stratgems, I'm not that savvy with csm or daemons and any help with what to look for would be awesome!!

This takes in account backfield objective, more fire power, and some anti air, while helping with durability of fire support. I do lose a unit of beserkers and a rhino though.

Not sure if this is better..... Thoughts?
