So I'm curious to do some Tyranid related reading, but GW/BL don't make this effort easy. I've been trying to work out what stories comprise the campaign that focuses around Baal the invasion of the Tyranids, but its not simple. Nor do any of the descriptions really say if they focus on the tyranids and the battles or if they are more a very casual background to other events. There's also no effort at any kind of clear display of a timeline of events; ergo which story comes before which - so I turn to you fellow geeks for some help!

First there's the campaign books that GW has put up on their digital store
https://www.warhammerdigital.com/all-products/shield-of-baal-the-collection.html

Comprising of Leviathan and Exterminatus, though I'm led to understand that there's a 3rd volume that GW has oddly left off.

After that there appears to be two major book collections that contain what I think are the bulk of the stories:

Shield of Baal £7.99
Spoiler:

Tempestus by Braden Campbell
The Word of the Silent King by L J Goulding
Wraithflight by Guy Haley
Dread Night by Nick Kyme
Devourer by Joe Parrino
Deathstorm and Shadow of the Leviathan by Josh Reynolds
A Son's Burden by Andy Smillie

Unique Content
A Son's Burden £2.49

The Great Devourer: The Leviathan Omnibus ebook £11.99
Spoiler:
Valedor by Guy Haley
The Last Days of Ector by Guy Haley
Deathstorm by Josh Reynolds
Tempestus by Braden Campbell
Devourer by Joe Parrino
Wraithflight by Guy Haley
Shadow of the Leviathan by Josh Reynolds
The Word of the Silent King by L J Goulding
Dread Night by Nick Kyme

Unique content -
Valedor (only sold in eldar book sets not on its own)
The Last Days of Ector £3.99

They cover almost the same stories with one or two short story differences (again why BL feels a need to do this is totally beyond me).

Beyond those there seems to be more in
The Devastation of Baal
The Sanguinor: Exemplar of the Host

Is there any more out there that I've missed, or perhaps some that repeat within others that I'm not aware of? If anything repeated word for word in the campaign books (I'd assume only short stories but sometimes GW has put longer stories into campaign books in the past)

Shield of Baal: Deathstorm was the third campaign supplement (Note: This is a different Shield of Baal: Deathstorm to the Shield of Baal: Deathstorm by Josh Reynolds, and came in the Shield of Baal: Deathstorm box).

Tempestus (ok-ish), Word of the Silent King (terrible), and Dread Knight (mostly scrubbed from my memory) are barely related to the greater narrative.

Deathstorm (the Reynolds one) is decent. Not-Moriar the dreadnought is a pretty fun character.

Devourer is good - although it's about Necrons really, and only ties into the Shield of Baal narrative to set up Anrakyr's appearance. It also has some really weird implications regarding time travel in the 40K universe which I don't like at all.

So the only bit "missing" from the narrative in digital print is the Deathstorm book from the camapign?

I'd toss Dante onto the list to read before devestation of Baal. not super important but does form sort of a nice narrative arc for Dante

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

The three Rising Leviathan Tyranid supplements are the true start of the story, detailing the Leviathan’s first steps into the Red Scar and the Blood Angels first clash with them in their home region.
