Is there any in the fluff? What about cool conversions?

Not that I'm aware of. There was a tripod titan in 'The Beast Must Die' - the Punisher-class Modus Destructor.

There might be some really old ones from the old Rogue Trader days when the designs were less set in stone as they are now. That said the only four legged titan unit that I'm aware of is the old Eldar Bright Stallion - which if I recall right is a wraithknight sized titan with four legs.

Yep - Eldar got the 4-legged Bright Stallion and Imperials got the tracked Warden.

I've been toying with the idea of a 4 legged Armiger using the bottom half of a onager.

While not the Imperium persay, the Interex (a human-xenos federation type civilization from the Great Crusade days) were said to have 4 legged battle platforms/suits/some noun that I forget the exact wording of that looked like Centaurs
