With containment and my new schedule, I restart my painting activities to complete my collection and take little commission. I'm a crazy collector and i possesses many armies (I am also the proud owner of 3 old armies of Garfy from Tales of painters and I collaborate with Sigur regularly) but I also paint and these are the models that I intend to show you. Being the creator of "Warhammer 40k campaigns (https://www.facebook.com/Warhammer-40k-Campaigns-518558484848481/?ref=bookmarks)" website, many of my figurines and projects are focused on the campaigns we create.

I start the hobby at 9 years old and i have now 35. GAmes Workshop is a part of my life as my wife and my 2 kids. I'm working as keytimers at my local store, which led me to practice the hobby on a daily basis. I start with Warhammer fantasy first because i dislike 40k when i'm 9. Play Empire and Orcs with lot of old metal pieces. I start 40k while the V3 and at this time I swore only for the Emperor. I have moreover since several army of the imperial guard (urban cadian army paint by Sigur is one of my army). Since then I have diversified and have armies of many races. I'm looking forward to the return of Warhammer fantasy to finish my night goblin army. I had break periods for personal reasons, but now that my life has stabilized I have started painting regularly.

I play other game as "Eden" and "Zombicide" but i'm really focused on Games Workshop games and derivative products. I will try as much as possible to publish tutorials and battle reports and what motivates me to build new projects. My hobby addiction pushed me to create "warhammer 40k campaigns" in order to write texts about warhammer 40k universe and to collaborate with artists who inspire me in my projects. It actually really pushed me back into the hobby and invite my friends to do it.

With containment i start a challenge with the FW table and here you can find the first base with airbrush. It's a very impressive detail board, so i think i will put lot of time on it. And work will not finished after that i have to paint the building and moving pieces of terrain.



For this first table i use black undercoat and i put a first coat with airbrush of "Graphene Gray SC-58" from scale 75, i make an highlight with "Artic Blue SC-05" from scale 75 too.

Alright, I continue the board with stone and details (dragon's theeth, fuel can, ammo box...). I'm working on it small part by small part to apply more attention on each element.



However, I painted all the sidewalks in "Decayed metal SC-87" from Scale 75 for the basecoat, after a wash of a mixing of "Nuln Oil" and "Seraphim Sepia", I Highlight them with a mixing of "Victorian Brass SC-92" and "Old Copper SC-88". I also added to finalize the highlight, a touch of "Plata Silver" by Game Color in order to have even clearer areas. Finally I apply "Faded blue" pigment from Secret Weapon to imitate the oxidation (but on these photo we don't see the pigment effects).

For grey on all pebbles and concrete area, I use shades based on various mixtures of white and "Artic Blue".

I try to put some colors on various elements and put on them transfertsheet to give them more realism. It is really a work of precision being the number of detail is impressive. Only downside on this game table, it is the mold bubbles that are seen at the time of painting and the possible deformations which are hard to rectify in view of the size of the board.

Anyway, here's a little update of the rhino!

And yeah! It's an Ultramarines! I just make on it a basecoat of "Magic Blue" by Game Color and highlight with white. I put some transfertsheet on it to give it more spirit. I will make more work on Rhino especially on metal parts and rust. And add some painting on details as bolter and inside the Rhino.

For the next up i will really work on metal parts of the board, and ading some rust pigment. I have lot of work on stones arrount the rhino and the building. In parallel I assemble the buildings that will come on the esplanade.

Hey Guys!

In the darker of the night I continue my work.
For my metallic parts I use on this board "Gunmetal" for basecoat and highlight with "Silver" both paint made by Game. Rust effects are made with the pigment "Terracotta Earth" by Secret Weapon, I just put little "Silver" touch after the pigment to correct any surplus of Terracotta. I have put some pigment on metal and on destroyed Rhino, I have lot of little touch of paint to had on Rhino.
I have paint the control post too.

Dont work on the board paint since last time, but i built the ruined building who will go on this one. Think they are the good one, just waiting my Sister of Battle Building to decide me.



I don't paint the table, but i work on my Warcyr team. I would like a Iron Golem team with metallic theme. So i have put the first coat With "Silver" from Game Color, "Victorian Brass" and "Decayed Metal" from Scale75. This is a rough draft work that I will refine as I go along. I plan to play with verdigris to bring out the bronze.

Okay work hard on my Warcry team.

I put large apply of "Faded blue" pigment from Secret Weapon on the entire team and start the base.



I finished my miniture test (sorry for crapy pics with my phone). Hope you like it! I will describe paint i have use when my team will be finished and post better pics with camera. In any case my girlfriend adopt this team.

I like the mix of metallics. It may just be the light though, but it looks like the back of his helmet is a different colour than the front? Probably just the light, I can tell that it's still a bronze helmet.

@Gwym: Thanks, yeah poor pics quality, it's a bronze helmet and i rework it a little with verdigris.
