Hi, I played WH40k briefly back in 5th Edition. I believe I started close to the release of 5thEd, and lost the time and funds to continue shortly after the release of 6thEd as I started college in 2013. I have long been a big fan of the 40K universe, getting my first introduction by way of a friend who owned Dawn of War: Dark Crusade. After collecting a decent amount of models normally, I quickly realized I had a keen interest in the older models as well after seeing a veteran player toting an entire army of original Necrons at my favorite hangout (which unfortunately has closed). Following that, I spent a lot of time looking for old 40K models on ebay and grabbing anything that I really liked, was in my price range, and seemed to be a good deal. I also picked up a collection I came across at an antique store, which brings me to the main reason I created an account here after merely lurking for so long. A few things that I bought seem very likely to have been converted from other games or models and I am now curious to find out what since I am getting back in to my collection. Others seem to be special pieces, but I am at a loss as to what they could be from. I am hoping that if I create a thread and post pictures, someone here might be able to identify them for me.
