Baleful Lords

Bloodthunder Stampede
Skullmaster (thermalrider cloak to keep up w/BTs)
3 Bloodcrushers
3 Bloodcrushers
3 Bloodcrushers

Tyrants of Blood
Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage (required artifact)
Bloodthirster of Insensate Rage (unsure of artifact)
Wrath of Khorne Bloodthirster

Ally: Slaves to Darkness Gaunt Summoner on foot
Endless Spell: Chronomatic Cogs

2 Battalions, 3 arcane artifacts, 3 CP to start

Yes, I know having a caster for Khorne is “ewwww, yucky”. But I think if Archaon petitions to have one of his chosen sorcerers tag along to boost the killing speed of the thirsters, not for murder from afar, I’m pretty sure Khorne would adhere to anything getting his chosen warriors into battle faster. Still working on the items for the ‘thirsters. Skullmaster is general due to Battleline Bloodcrushers. 2k on the dot.

Three days in, and not a single comment either positive or negative. I’m going to assume that the very concept broke peoples brains, and you all have been left in a jittering stump on the floor, drooling all over yourselves. Somebody prove me wrong.

Well first off this isnt a massively active sub forum in all honesty.

Second, I try to reply to new stuff here reasonably frequently, if only to hold people over until someone more knowledgeable about the specific faction comes along with more detailed advice. However Khorne is not an army I know much about at all so just looking at your list on it's own there's not much I personally can constructively say.

But thirdly, there isnt really much for anyone to say about a list without context and more importantly without you asking some questions.

What are exactly are you wanting to achieve with this list? What sort of meta are you using it in? Are you looking for optimisation help, and if so what parts do you personally feel most attached to that youd be most inclined to keep?

Ok, so baleful lords allows Bloodthirsters to Run&Charge. Tyrants of Blood lets BTs fight all at the same time (they all get to swing before opponent, once their first attack starts). The Bloodcrusher battalion is to get guaranteed MW from impact hits, they’re battleline in this list, and the Booodcrusher hero is the General in order to make them battleline. He has the cloak in order to keep up with the Thirsters for his command trait ability (+1 to charge) from being a BL. The Gaunt is there to cast Cogs, making the big scary guys who already fly 14”, run D6” and charge 2D+1” gain a further 4” of movement; threat of 3 BTs being an average of 29”. One BT is anti-caster, the other two have the huge axes that do a ton of damage. They also have re-roll charge and to-wound bonuses baked into their data sheets. And of course, every unit wiped out gets me Blood tithe points for army boosts, dispels, or even more Thirsters should one pop. The crushers will play cleanup after the BTs have stomped through.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Baleful Lords works better with Flesh Hounds. Bloodcrushers are okay, but not great. In units of 3, you are going to lose the mortal wound output pretty fast. Also, 2 Bloodthirsters of Insesate Rage is kinda a waste. They are so swingy. I’d go with 1 and find room for Skarbrand for guaranteed damage. Not crazy about the Gaunt Summober either. I get the point of wanting g cogs, but it’s a lot to pay for a small buff IMO. Just my 2 cents.

Now that I have recovered from my floor-gibbering, I can say I think you have a potent and pretty fun idea here. Added bonus is the Gaunt Summoner comes with a free 50-wound unit for objective camping that the rest of the army can really benefit from while it rushes forward to get stuck in.

Consider; Games Workshop rules not so much games but as toolboxes for players to craft an experience from, and open/narrative/matched play just examples of how things can be put together.
