So I've decided to bring my old Dark Eldar models into the current edition by tidying them up a bit, giving them the correct armament and giving them a new paint job. I'm a bit of a lazy painter and I don't have alot of hobby time at the moment so I'm going for a quick and easy paint job on this army. I thought I'd start a blog to keep me more motivated. We'll see how that works out...
I was thinking of trying out gw contrast paints, but I'm not sure they'll do what I'm looking for so I'll stick to what I'm comfortable with for now. I painted up some kabalite warriors as a test. I wanted a kind of shiny latex finish in black and red. It came out okay, but I think I can do better next time. This is what they look like. It's a crappy picture, but I think the idea comes across.
