Darren Latham is a current sculptor for GW and a former member of their 'Eavy Metal team. For months now he has been making painting tutorials that give incredible info on painting GW models, tips and tricks most would never have thought of. These videos are practically a community treasure for the insight and help they provide, but unfortunately for reasons that may never be disclosed he is closing his channel on May 18th. I highly recommend that everyone interested in getting better at painting any minis at the very least give these amazing tutorials a watch, if not download them for future personal reference. I hope everyone who would be interested sees this in time to take necessary actions. This guy is very passionate about what he does and made these videos for free on his own time for everyone of us modelers, aspiring newbie and self-taught master alike. I firmly believe he would want us all to see them and have them as very valuable resource in a world that would prefer to see us pay for every scrap of information. I hope I'm not breaking any rules with this PSA, it certainly isn't my intention, but I feel quite strongly about it and wanted to get the word out to the community at large. Having just recently got back in, I found his tutorials extremely helpful guides as I brush off the rust. Do note that it appears his Instagram will remain up and we will likely see things there, though nothing like what is on his YouTube channel.
