Looking to see if anyone has painted up some Ulthwe wraithlords\guards. New faction for me and trying to wrap my mind around how my scheme will work. I primed them in Chaos black so I’m think a good amount of the work is done lol

Thanks all! Emperor protects.

Good choice on craftworld, Im just finishing my own ulthwe army. As to your question I used the GW bone colour scheme as outlined by Duncan below.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asu5OuAckIE

For the black you have a few options. I used Sotek Green and Temple Guard Blue to edge highlight the armour which gives a really futuristic, "Matrix" esque flow to the black, however you could use GWs other "clean" or "matte" blacks which incorporate more greys and subtle blues.

If you want an eye candy take on pro ulthwe stylings check out Darren Lathams instagram below, he uses more of a clean black style, however if you want to go all out sci fi, then perhaps the temple guard blue might be for you

I will be watching this, my next project is craftworld ulthwe and I have been collecting so many pictures to decide how I want to paint.

I only have pics of this wraithseer, but it shows my Ulthwe scheme. My wraithguard are magnetised and in the same scheme. My eyesight isn't very good anymore so take these for what they're worth. Black and Ushabti bone washed in seraphon. The counter purple is a dark Violet from Army Painter, highlighted with Phoeneician and a lavender whose name I forgot and can't find, then washed with Druchii.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

This tutorial has almost everything you'll need for painting Ulthwe.
