hey guys, I'm referring to a custom sculpted tank way that made its appearance way back in early days of the release of Tau as a army. I am going to have to describe the one I remember and with any luck one of you guys may help me out with getting images of it. I remember seeing it on ebay as a kit and extremely briefly on etsy in its early days. It was painted red, had a turret similar to a Hammerhead Gunship, but beefier, I believe it had 6 legs. Thats all I remember at the moment...... your help and recollection appreciated!

You mean this? It was the first result in a google image search for "40k Tau Crab Tank"

This other one came up and has a gun that seems to resemble the Hammerhead

This one was further down, but could hold some inspiration as well. Honestly, these three came from the same forum seemingly dedicated to Tau, so you might try poking around there for more.

I think you're looking for this, though your memory of how old it is seems a bit off as it wasn't *that* old.

Its out of production now.

The first pic is closest to the one I remember, but had a slightly heavier feel to the side mounted turret cannon far more akin to a hammerhead and there were no pincers..... I think gun emplacements instead..... there were a couple of drones in the area where the pincers are and gun emplacements. At least I'm pretty sure it is from what I remember.

While its pretty cool looking.... no, definately not it. The one I have in mind predates the one you posted for sure.
