Hello, my name is Cigar0.
I painted and played Warhammer 40k back 15 years ago. So, the last week I started new and wanted to create Minis to play with and to put them in my room as good looking minis.
(I'am from germany, so sorry for my english)

So I tried a lot and think that, if you get older, you will have a better understanding of how you can paint things. Also you have the view for details more then as a kid.

So here is my best figure until now, the leader of a tactical troop of space marines, murum lux, underchapter of the Imperial Fists:

(Ups, okay, so I hope some of you will google it or I can post it the next times. The username on instagram is "cigar0lp" (a blue dragon symbol)
Please do not wonder because you can also find some pictures of my dog there. :-)

Hope to hear from you guys and girls. More pictures will follow.

Upload the pic to Dakka's gallery and it should let you show that. Posting links to pics is generally not a good idea anways.

Cool model!
I imagine he is the only survivor, left alone on a planet, cursing the unfairness of the unverse!

Love the colour scheme. Great work.

The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.

very nice work, always pleasant to see someone pulling off smooth yellows

Personally I've never been a fan of decorating bases, but I do like the blue mineral patches that you've added.
A nice change from the usual patches of grey rock and yellowed weeds.

Really cool. Will they have shoulder pad markings or anything at any point?

I second this.

The little bit of blue really helps your yellows to 'pop' more.

Nice work and interesting paint scheme. Yellow is a tricky colour to get right. Black and yellow are a really nice and striking mix of colours (I've always liked the Scythes of The Emperor scheme).
