Been painting this army for what feels like 100 years, trying to get my rusty DG technique down. Looking for some suggestions on making the rust more believable.

I like the dark metal look.

I think the rust patches are too solid looking, especially on the upper right side of the dozer blade. Maybe breaking it up a little with more metal color?

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

agreed. or you could put some streaks down the dozer blade, coming from the holes, and from the underside of the trim.

Also, maybe get some rust powder to give it a little texture.

Maybe try and spread the rust around a little? I really like the tracks, but maybe rather than having all of the rust on the dozer blade, have a smaller amount of rust spotted all over the model? Obviously still put it near battle damage etc.
I just found it a little weird that there was so much rust on the front of the vehicle, but the top was quite clean
