So do we have an official timeframe as to when we will be able to order minis from forgeworld again? If there has been an announcement regarding this I seem to have missed it. Anyone have any information on this? Do they only accept orders from UK customers or is it still closed for everybody?

It’s still closed with no updates at present. Keep an eye on Warhammer Community, is my advice.

I was talking to the guy who does Hydracast models in Russia and he was saying that whilst he could keep making models (its him on his own); his supplier for resin was shut down. It could well be this is the same for Forgeworld in that the GW end could resume production, but they've no active supply of resin and thus would likely appear on sale day 1 and then be swiftly starved of stock and have nothing to sell day 2.
Other complicating factors might be:
1) Resin production is more hands-on than plastic casting. GW might be having issues and might be having to move around equipment so that they can run enough resin casting machines safely.
2) Key staff might be unable to return to work due to lockdown. Eg they might be a highly vulnerable person or might live with people who are.
It's a little strange that GW hasn't come out and said anything, but all we can do is wait and badger (politely) their communication channels asking for details (though sadly their front-line tends to always give the same answer when you ask questions that they've no officially answered - "We'll let you know on the community page when we know". Though registering your interest is always good.

The last I read was from 6th May
With Games-Workshop.com back online across the world now, next up are Forge World and Black Library – it may take a little while though. We’ll be sure to bring you any news as soon as we have it.
So, 2 down, 1 to go it seems, but nothing firm so far.

It is a little odd that they've not even mentioned FW for some time now.
The timing of this shutdown was just so bad for them with some huge releases being planned during this time.

The Forge World website is currently down for "maintenance". Could mean something, could not. Probably not as I'd expect some kind of announcement.

I believe when GW turned off their stores and set all stock to 0 they likely did so manually - setting their whole listed inventory to 0. I suspect because they knew before they'd come online again tehy'd have to do a full stock take and manually enter the data back in.
FW could be going through the same!
