Trying to find a hand drill that takes up to 5mm drill bits. Or another good way to make 5mm slots for magnets.

There's loads of handrills, but they all max out at around 3mm. I'd rather not use a power drill for this, but I can't seem to find a dedicated hand drill nor a 3mm to 5mm adaptor or similar.

Why don’t you want to use a power drill? My 18v Makita works great for drilling magnets. Completely variable speed, so it’s very controllable.

Mostly because a hand drill is a lot cheaper than a machine drill and takes up less space too.


Also got a tip on searching for "Pin Vises with Chuck Key" which has thrown up a few potentials like
