im getting a second box of Feast of Bones for my army im starting, and im wondering how I should build it. I intend to go for the ogre cannon instead of the knobbler catapult and converting my second Tyrant to a Butcher, but what should I do with my gluttons? I have a few options.

1. Keep them as gluttons and bring my numbers up to a full 12.
2. Convert 2 to leadbelchers and 4 to Iron guts
3. Convert 2 to leadbelchers, 1 to a Firebelly and keep 3 as Gluttons.

I like the sounds of all 3 options, so I leave the box's fate in your hands, Dakka!

Honestly all 3 have merit.

Ironblaster is loads better than Scraplauncher in my opinion, so you're on the right track there.

Max units of Gluttons are good.
Ironguts are good (and mandatory for most gutbuster Battalions).
Firebellies are good.

For me it would really be a question of what order to get them rather than which to get.

Some thoughts on Leadbelchers though: I really like them, but I run Underguts. I'm not super convinced they are good enough outside of Underguts - that extra 6" range makes a huge difference, especially when you want to stay still.

Yeah if I do go for the extra Leadbelchers and Ironguts id go Underguts and use up what points I got left in my 2k for another box of the shooty lads (whenever they come on sale Again!)

I would bulk up the gluttons to max size. It does a couple things: a) cheaper unit, b) better impact hits, and c) more longevity on the table. It gives you a better anvil unit too. I find that I need 1-2 max strength units in my army to hold an enemy in place so a stone horn can kill it. A max strength unit also holds its own against almost every other tar pit unit too (FEC ghouls properly supported might be the exception).
