I have had pretty good experience with you guys helping me out with things like this so I figured I would ask. I was looking at this archon model that has the agoniser shaped like a gauntlet and I was wondering what you would consider it as on the modern dataslate?

Wouldn't that be an Agonizer? That's what I always ran that model with.

Did they remove the Agonizer as an option? I think the only other options are Huskblade or Venom Blade. I wouldn't see any problem running it as a venom blade as long as it was made clear before game.

The current Archon options are Agoniser, Huskblade, Power Sword, or Venom blade.

I really couldn't see anyone having an issue with whichever you chose to count it as.

Yes it was an agoniser. I guess it’s cool it could be any one you need it to have.

Since 'counts as' isn't a rule, you would need to discuss with your opponents what the weapon is for your games.

And since WYSIWYG isn't a rule either, you can run the Archon however you want. The only requirement is you use an Official™ Citadel™™ Miniature™®™©™ of an Archon to represent the Archon datasheet.

That being said, the model in the picture has an Agoniser.
