So this thread is where we will be able to read people's thoughts on the previews without all the whining gak on the rumor thread, right ?

still hoping they add to the terrain rules about vehicles causing cover to units.
Bugs me that even the large models dont cause intervening model cover anymore.

It was indeed a very interesting tactical element they removed. A good player would use tanks, espcially transport vehicules and such, to grant cover to less resilient units (usually by sprinting after the less resilient unit made its shots). I also remember when my hormagaunts granted cover to my carnifexes (but that was less immersive wasn't it hah hah).

That part of intervening model im fine with being gone, it was weird that ANY unit conferred the cover save lol.

Well I mean they could just give non-fly MCs and Vehicules a "provide cover for infantry" USR, but I think that would have been too complcated for what they have aimed for with 9th. Also, when you shoot at an angle, is the covering unit really "intervening" ?? Too much of a hassle in the end i'd reckon

The only thing I want to know is whether assault monsters/ vehicles will finally be able to chop-chop infantry holed up on the upper levels of buildings.

They can.
We don't know how yet, but we have been told that they can.

I hope you just need to hug a building to be able to strike at all enemies within. Something simple, if not greatly immersive
