While I’m aware that DKoK can’t have Tank Commanders in Mars-Alpha Leman Russes, but in the PA description of tank aces, it only says that a. ace has to have the Leman Russ keyword, Astra Militarum, and not be a brood brother to be eligible. So I just want to make sure, can Mars-Alphas can be Tank aces?

Yes, a Leman Russ Mars-Alpha model in a Death Korps Leman Russ Mars-Alpha Battle Tanks unit may be given a Tank Ace ability as it meets all the keyword requirements, assuming you have an ASTRA MILITARUM CHARACTER as your warlord (which includes the DKOK officers).

Just keep in mind it has the old, worse version of Emergency Plasma Vents.

The Greater Good book gives the option for any army lead by an ASTRA MILITARUM warlord to take a tank ace for an ASTRA MILITARUM VEHICLE. The Mars-Pattern Leman Russ qualifies and can take one of the Leman Russ tank ace abilities because it has the LEMAN RUSS keywords.
