Can paint candy red, blue, green, yellow etc.

airbrushed chromes and silvers to pre-shade, then a Tamiya Clear over it

Q: how to do something similar for a hot pink or deeper pink colour?

You could buy some house of kolor Kandy paint. It's mainly used for automobiles, and made specifically for candy effect (obviously) I've used it before. You need lacquer thinners for it though. Airbrushes nicely.
