A US F15 from RAF Lakenheath crashed into the North Sea. The pilot has been found dead.

Conditions for searching were bad, but we all hoped for a rescue. At least his or her family have the consolation of recovering the body for funerary rites.

Yeah I heard about this. Sad news. There's been a couple of land crashes up there a few years back too. We assisted with the removal of munitions on them. One was another f15 and the other was a pave hawk, or black hawk perhaps? I can't remember.
