So I've finally kicked myself in the butt and started to paint my terminator shield captain. The only thing finished on this right now is the face, which is also what I wanted to show off and get opinions. The armor is just base coated and washed, so very far from finished.
The head is a space marine head, which is originally bald, but I sculpted the hair using green stuff. I wanted to give him a sort of grizzled veteran look of a warrior who has seen a lot of battle, hence the grey/white hair and beard.

What is your plan for the base? It looks like it’ll have some great detail.

Thanks. The base is from dragonforge design, really cool stuff. I've posted them before but the base of this terminator captain is going to look like on those guys:

Gold is looking great so far. Face is awesome. If the other models are anything to go by, he will be fantastic.

Here is an update on my allarus shield captain:

The armor is 90% finished and the cloak is finished. The spearhead is still quite rough and needs some work.

Before anyone asks, I had the spearhead commissioned on shapeways and it's a custom design.

I've finally finished him, I just need to paint the base.

This has been some project....fitting the custom spearhead, sculpting the end of the rope on the spear to fit the custom spearhead....the face.
But I'm really happy with the result.
