Well ym 2nd AOS army will be the new elves. My first ever GW army I played with was high elves so these certainly had strong "old time's sake" feeling.
Was considering doing white+blue+silver+maybe gold similar to my original high elves. However thought that since I have cold white sisters of batte maybe try something else this time. Warm white?
However don't really have idea on hiw to do that one. Anybody have good recipe or tutorial to share?

If you have some test models you could do a quick comparison of your preferred white base with a variety of washes and contrast paints. I use Painter's Touch 2x Paint+Primer Flat White as my base, followed by Pallid Witch Flesh for warm white or White Scar for cool. I wash warm whites with thinned down Agrax (neutral brown tint) for armor, with Seraphim Sepia (yellow tint) for banners and purity seals, and for cool white I've been enjoying Apothecary White contrast paint to give a cool blue-gray tint. Those are my three whites.
As a guy who also has a massive white SoB army AND a White Scars army, may I also suggest giving yourself a break from white? If I were to start a new army at this point I'd be tempted to go for a big Contrast experiment, or use it as an excuse to buy an airbrush.

Khakhi base, bone, off-white, then white highlights. Thin down your choice of brown ink, wash, or contrast paint for a final glaze.

No contrast. I'm going to try to put real effort on this one. For one helps me hopefully not buy tons of models. This will be sort of slow growth project. Also having just won best painted award on tournament with sister(now to be fair small tournament so level of competition wasn't THAT huge!) I kind of got motivation boost that I can try for bit better than just basic battlefield ready level.
Well still won't be golden daemon level for sure(as said small tournament ) but at least want to make army I can be proud off. And seeing it's spiritual successor of my 1st GW army I want to do it to level I wasn't able then and since it's more of elite army I don't have to worry about painting tons of models either.

Never done it, but i would suggest maybe bleached bone mixed with white.
start with pure bleached as the undercoat and mix in more white per layer.

Try naples yellow acrylic to wash the white area. Should do the trick.
neapolitan yellow is really light yellow-peach.
I would mix white little bit yellow, little bit orange, and tiny bit pink until it looks good to me.
Then dilute the mixture into a wash and try to wash the white in it.
See how it looks
Perhaps do one more wash coat and see how it looks.
Test it on something, hope this helps
Generally your colors will be cooler or warmer in relationship to the nearby colors. Something you can have fun with.
