I don't have much experience with T'au but considering 9th seems to be leaning towards shooty lists and T'au get to keep their overwatch I might want to pick them up. I want to go for a max glass cannon sort of list, I know i'll probably suffer on objectives but the point is to shoot most armies off the table. The 3 strike teams are for token objective holding. Any CC is appreciated, especially from Tau players.

You'll need more sheild drones, and markerdrones need a drone controller otherwise you are stuck at BS5+ (which is very very bad). Also with more markerlights you once you get 4... you won't be penalized for moving and shooting.

I would drop... one riptide to get more drones, more markerlights, maybe firesight marksmen? Maybe more fireblade cadres.

And you are allowed a 2nd secondary system on the riptides, so 1 drone contrroller and 1 velocity tracker are good picks.
