I just joined a group where of 3 other players where I am the least experienced player 1 game so far as genestealer cults with brood brothers. It immediately ties up my team's best units and piles on casualties before we make it close to the enemy. I don't really know how to take it down last time my friends give tyrant killed it but we both lost a squad before it was dead. What units should I add in to my list to fight a burna bomma.

A Tank Commander with punisher cannon could be useful, leading a patrol of Brood Brothers.
It can issue the Gunners, Kill On Sight! order to re-roll 1s and if it doesn't move it shoots the punisher cannon twice (40 shots!) and can have up to 3 heavy bolter sponsons for a little bit of extra firepower.

Looking into that now I actually have a leman russ battle tank so all I need are some new bits for the new gun thanks so much!

It should be noted that it can only drop bombs twice, and only on units it passes over (then it often explodes on it's own accord) it will usually kill 2 thirds of an infantry unit or put a single wound on a tank. Due to being GSC the most likely targets he's going to shoot for are purestrains or abbherants right? Everything else is just cheap guardsman who cost way way less than the bomma itself.

If he's going first your units should be the stealthy pings right? If you're going first perhaps it's worthwhile having your expensive units in one of the forms of deepstrike you have?

The trick to prevent bombing runs is to make sure that there is no space left to place the plane. If spread out your army so the plane can't "land" anywhere, you can deny bombing runs. Also make sure that there are no spots where the bommer can explode and catch many units and/or characters at once - every unit within 6" of the bommer will suffer three mortal wounds.

Ork player here. Premeasure so you are sure nothing important can be in the explosion range. Also the bombing happens during movement, so they can't bomb stuff inside the transport.
The plane is 12W T6 4+, not the toughest thing to bring down.
