I swear I read this somewhere that if you aren't wholly within an aura you get no benefit, but now I can't find it. At best I saw in the leaked core rules I saw... if an aura says wholly within, then some models with turrets and whatnot might have a hard time staying in the affected area. Did I make this up in my mind?

It depends on the aura.

Rites of Battle? Works as long as a single model is partially within range.
The Kustom Force Field? Every part of the base of every single model in the unit needs to be within range.

The wholly within thing is true- if bits for baseless models are sticking out (or part of the base, for models with the base), you aren't wholly within, so the aura doesn't work.

But of course it depends on how the aura is worded.
If it says 'wholly within,' you have to worry about that. If it just says 'within,' you don't.

Bit of a tangent, but I love how they have keyworded Auras on the new datasheets.

Obviously I'm expecting it to be pretty messy as things transition, but eventually this should put to bed arguments about what things are auras.

Stux, I'm agreed on that too.
