I know, another my favorite unit got nerfed thread. But not really, because I play narrative. This is more of a "I don't understand at all where this came from" thread. I just want to hear what other reasonable people think here. Some actual discussion with reasons.

Howling Banshees were a marginal but useful unit at half the cost of an intercessor. Advance and charge (with +3"), no overwatch, and the exarch abilities found places for me in most games (I am not a "most efficient damage dealer or useless" player). Now, Overwatch is mostly gone, the - to hit is capped at 1 (a good change).so both those abilities slightly weaker.
So, is this 15 points plus 4 for the power weapon accurate? 1 point less than an intercessor? This valuation cannot include swing first (which did get more useful and already was) since only with Jain Zar do they swing first. Does synergy with Doom really make them this good?
