I came in here thinking “I bet it’s just going to be wounded guardsmen fending off the poor tyranids, who are just lonely and hungry and want a hug and a snack”

But you have that one at the end, showcasing the poor nid.

Also, you need to cut back on the land mines of the battlefield. Between the nid and all the missing feet on the guard, I think they might be a little to destructive. While generally ankle related injuries can be a side effect of rippers, it looks like rippers in your local swarm go for the face.
