Yeah, the translucent fabric was really fun to paint, especially on the face.

I think I've got another client that is going to send me the veiled high elf that just came out, and I'll probably paint her the same way.

The first time I painted up scales with a pattern like that was on a dragon a few years ago. It actually wasn't a great sculpt, but the snake pattern made it work surprisingly well. It seemed like a good idea to do something similar on a proper snake like this.
