I'd hoped gw would add bits to the warrior kit to make flayed ones. Well, so much for that.
Any chance new flayed ones minis will be coming in 9e?

Any chance? Yes, there's always a chance.
Necrons are undergoing a range refresh at present. Most of that refresh we've seen, or seen glimpses of the whole. But we've not seen everything yet.
So wait and see

I suspect anything with a green plastic rod and anything made in fine cast is either getting a new model or being moved to legends.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

Yeah, this seems a pretty reasonable inference, and would imply that Flayed Ones are up for grabs.
Honestly I was really surprised to see the current Flayed Ones when I came back to the hobby. They look to me like a hobbyist's conversion of Warriors, with parchment-like skin and weird posing. The old ones really looked like they were wearing flayed skins and were suitably creepy.
Compare:
No contest IMO. New plastic ones more in the style of the originals would be very welcome.

Here is an easy guide for converting Warriors into old school Flayed Ones if you want to go in that direction, OP.

@Catbarf: Totally agree, the metal Ones were great. I used to have 20 of them, but they were part of the much regretted Necron sell-off.
