The US army has a naming survey for a new vehicle, one of the options is Manticore, described as "Fictional missile launching tank in the game Warhammer"
Many good choices. But the Manticore has my vote. I used to have a Necromancer riding one for me old Undead army, and voting for a 40k name is all S's & G's for me, as is voting on the name of American hardware....
I love that the Warhammer model falls under the category of "military or civilian system." My problem with Manticore though is that isn't that a surface to surface weapon, whereas the SHORAD is surface to air? Wouldn't a Hydra be more appropriate?
