Hey people,

I'm a solo artist creating and releasing FREE 3D-printable miniatures (STL files). There's no catch, no paywalls, but any kind of support would be greatly appreciated.

Here's some previews and a Thingiverse link (I'm uploading files on there right now, it'll be 12 miniatures after It's finished -- 6 equipment variations of a Heavy Infantry Skeleton in 2 poses, Light Infantry, Ranged Troops and Cavalry to come in the future):

JULY 19 UPDATE: Major fixes to the model. Compatibility with FDM printing even at @0.4 (ideally you want either a small nozzle or resin for perfect prints), reduced print time, mesh quality and detail adjustments. Lowered the tunics so there's no gaps with the legs, added a 'soil' base with foot imprints for easier printing (add it to the mesh before printing with your favorite prep software).

JULY 21 UPDATE: I've revised the promotional studio setup, here's an example.

Free Downloads: https://www.thingiverse.com/dungeonwardenminiatures/designs
Patreon page for animated turntables and additional promo images (public): https://www.patreon.com/DungeonWardenMiniatures
Your support is not mandatory, but would be greatly appreciated!

PS: You might want to scale them up for an FDM print if you're unsure about the Knees/Elbows. If there's any major problems, I'll work to fix them and re-upload the models.

I'm not asking for anything in return apart from sharing the news and helping spread the content to your friends and family (:

I'd love to hear any feedback or thoughts you've got on your mind. I'm new around here, but I hope to become an useful addition to the community!

That’s awesome dude!

You should use Patreon to give early access to eventually free minis.

Look forward to what else you do.

Thank you!

Everything I release is going to be free for everyone, I just setup a Patreon to have a base of operations and an easy way for any generous souls to donate to the project.

Right now I'm planning on finishing uploading 12 STLs of 2x Poses of a Heavy Infantry Skeleton (6 equipment variations - Axe/Spear/Sword plus Round/Square shield) to Thingiverse.

Then I'll finish up creating the different classes of troops to finish the theme of skeletons.

I'm thinking about doing Ghouls next probably? It seems to be a bit neglected by creators.

I've also setup a discord server for the project if anyone wants to pick my brain directly: https://discord.gg/9Atjnr9

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I'll be uploading these 'Defensive Poses' to Thingiverse as soon as possible:

Some adjustments: thickened elbows and knees, larger spearhead. Should be 100% fine for FDM printing now (as long as the scale isn't too small).
