I just got back into 40k after a long time away (4th edition) and decided to go with Tau, specifically N'Dras sept (the stealthy sept). I'm not too fussed about winning, but I want to get the best list I can within the fluff so don't want to change out all Ghostkeels for riptides for example. The idea behind the army is to be highly mobile and control space around the board. Any advice is much appreciated! Using the new points system...

Whilst I don't have the firepower of a riptide or any vehicles I thought that the burst cannons with Up-Gunned and ATS would bring them to -2 AP to shred infantry. Relying on the ghostkeels, commander and broadsides for anything heavier. Wall of mirrors stratagem lets me move XV25s out of combat if a ghostkeel is nearby, or jump them up to 18" away for 1CP.

Seems like a decent list. Just a few comments:

Breachers are an odd choice if you're running them with a Markerlight. They'll have to move to get range making your Markerlight -1 to hit. In general, this list seems light on Marker support. I would seriously consider replacing the Shield Drones with Marker Drones.

It may seem like you have decent anti-tank, but you don't really. A single Broadside with some Ghostkeels is not going to be enough, especially in 9th edition where mechanized infantry is going to be a common build. I would look for a way to replace the Burst Cannons on the Ghostkeels with Fusion Blasters. Alternatively, you could increase the Broadside unit to three and give them Magna Rail Rifles.
