I have just recently started painting again and I bought the Start Collecting! IronJawz.
I have been wanting to paint them a metal colour but I do not know what a good combination of base, shade and layer colours would work for orruks. Does anyone have any advice?

Hard to give advice when you dont specify..
Is it how to paint basic steel, is the yellow you dont like so you looking for alt colour patterns, is it how to paint other metals then steel.
Offical GW site allso has paint suggestions under product description.

Good color scheme would be achieve with good contrast.
Have you considered painting their skin a variation of blue or red or brown, ets?
That might give interesting contrast options to the armor

Just google aos orks look at the pictures, and you get a heap of results for insipration. When you have found out what you would try, ask us again.
Some like the box design yellow, some like black orks, some like red orks, some like blue orks some like pink orks,,, we cant know what you would like

If it were mine, I'd do the skin with bluish gray and the armor a very well considered rusted metal (building up from reddish brown, not from a metallic, and only edge highlighting with silver). But like everyone has said, post some inspiration pics of orcs you find online and we can help fine tune it.
