So I am curious if there are any good quality terrain and general festures/parts out there which you would recommed for the necrons.

I have already spotted s few including
Terrain features by ttc who also make some bigger terrain and some really great and resin bases

Puppetswar make some neat alternative heads that I have not tried but I think would suit, they also have a range of hand weapons

Finally wargameexlusive make some neat complete and conversion sets, though their female option might only work with the old warriors kit

The TTCombat MDF Necron terrain is nice too, if slightly less polished than their resin offerings. I particularly like the 'not a summoning core', which I'm using as Starstele.

Various children's sand buckets are available in pyramid/ziggurat shapes, which make simple and cheap larger terrain pieces with a coat of paint.

These are cool. Not the most polished but cool. I find them at everylittlewar.com under the designer Terracutter. Search for Ancient Civilization. just the pillar, some walls, and a warp gate thing.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

If you've got access to a 3D printer this is a pretty good option (if I do say so myself):
