Obviously the results need to be, in general, amusing but not crippling or exceedingly powerful. No-one will do it if there's a good chance of dying for doing so.
For rolling it I will use a
RNG to determine results, and I have already come up with a few results to roll, but nothing that will instantly kill a character(except one that ages a random creature that kills them if they go over their natural lifespan, I might nerf that). a few other ideas I had were turning a random weapon into black pudding for a few turns before reverting back(shouldn't be too much of a problem unless they use very expensive mundane armor), or a random weapon becoming animated and wanting to kill the nearest creature, or a flaming skull that teleports within 30 feet of the player that cast the wild magic spell and screams really loudly and deafening the anyone within 30 feet unless they use their actions to cover their ears, for 1 minute, then it will attack anyone nearby, focusing on the caster of the spell that summoned it, and another result that gives the caster +2 to hit next turn. I am using the 5e rules, so only sorcerers and those spellcasters in wild magic zones can cause this, and it is when the wild magic
d20 rolls 1. I want the table to have some bad results(that might kill a low level caster, but hey, the PHB version might have the caster explode in a fireball), and some good ones(that might help the party win an encounter in which the
DM wanted them to be downed and captured).
